When my kids were little, we made a quiet decision that shaped everything.
We chose experiences over things.
Instead of another round of gifts under the tree, we bought plane tickets.
Instead of more toys, we planned trips.
Instead of accumulating stuff, we collected stories.
We hopped on airplanes.
We explored new cities and tiny towns.
We discovered amazing food.
And met wonderful people along the way.
We learned that the best memories aren't wrapped.
They're earned.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something else:
Adventure is powerful.
But it's even better when it's balanced with rest.
After a full day out and about, you need a welcoming place to land.
After seeing and doing and exploring, you need space to breathe.
That's where WildRest was born.
